 We will now be releasing a new old song every couple of months for your listening pleasure. You will also learn how the song came about & any related nonsense.
The latest: "Some Will Come" & "Welcome to the I" from "The Time Has Come" released in early 2003.
"Some Will Come" was originally recorded a year and a half before the album came out, but was re-recorded just before the album came out in a mad-rush to beat our deadline. This song is just JB being JB, what else can be said? "Welcome to the I" features our friend Bullet from Portland, OR, who also happens to run the label that we are on, Eastside Muzik, Inc. The song originally came together while JT was out on a visit to Northwest. It was to be an Iowa pride song, and it turned out to be just that. It ended up being one of the bigger hits in the J trey catalog scoring some decent radioplay & is still being recited by J Trey fans statewide, old & young.
